Dr.
Sieveking is a native Nashvillian who completed
his training in general surgery and plastic
and reconstructive surgery at Stanford University
in Palo Alto, California. After finishing
his training at Stanford, Dr. Sieveking
traveled to Rio de Janeiro and Santos, Brazil
to be a student of two of the world's leaders
in plastic surgery- Ivo Pitanguy and Ewaldo
Bolivar de Souza Pinto.
Dr. Sieveking balances his body contouring
practice with his busy facial surgery practice
where he has developed a reputation as one
of the top Facelift and Rhinoplasty surgeons
in the region. He is known as a safe and
conservative plastic surgeon and for achieving
predictible and "natural results"
without extreme changes in his patients.
He has lectured around the world (South
America, Asia, and the U.S.) on the topics
of facelifts, cleft lip and palate, and
breast surgery. He has also authored a chapter
on Rhinoplasty in one of the major training
textbooks for plastic surgery residents
(Handbook of Plastic Surgery, Greer et al.,
2004). With the upcoming retirement of Dr.
Orcutt, Dr. Sieveking will be taking over
the Facelift and Rhinoplasty practice that
his partner has built over the last 34 years.
Dr. Sieveking's experience encompasses
all areas of plastic and reconstructive
surgery, including hand and microsurgery;
but his special interests include liposuction
and breast surgery, face-neck lifting, Rhinoplasty,
and cleft lip and palate repair. He has
worked with the non-profit organization
Interplast to provide free reconstructive
surgery to children in Southeast Asia and
South America. He has been a consultant
to the Nashville branch of Operation Smile,
helping organize fund raisers and international
plastic surgery trips. |
